Abu Bakr Mosque Enhances Safety and Security Measures
Abu Bakr Mosque and Community Centre is committed to the safety and well-being of our congregation and visitors. As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure a safe environment, we have implemented several key improvements in line with fire safety regulations.
One significant change is the relocation of the wudu (washing) sinks into the toilet container to ensure that the rear fire exit is kept clear of any obstructions. This adjustment enhances the fire evacuation route, ensuring it remains easily accessible in case of an emergency.
We have also installed two new fire escape doors to meet safety regulations, further improving the mosque’s evacuation procedures. In addition, we have equipped the office area with new fire extinguishers and installed fire alarms to enhance early warning systems throughout the building.
To provide clarity during an evacuation, we have marked a fire assembly point in the front car park, ensuring that everyone knows where to gather safely in case of an emergency.
These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety for everyone who visits Abu Bakr Mosque. We will continue to monitor and improve our facilities to ensure the well-being of our community.
