A Beacon of Diversity & Service in Middlesbrough
The Abu Bakr Mosque and Cultural Centre, a cornerstone of Middlesbrough since 1989, epitomises the town's vibrant diversity.
Founded initially to cater to Muslim immigrants, it has flourished into a well-established charity, the Muslim Federation Cleveland, under charity number 702212 since 1990.
This Centre has not only been a place of worship but also a beacon of hope, love, and unity, attracting a wide array of nationalities including South-Asian, Arab, Kurdish, African, and European communities, as well as British-born individuals, migrants, refugees, and international students.
Its history is marked by a commitment to serving diverse local ethnic and native communities, providing vital services that have made it a beloved pillar in the Middlesbrough area.
